Request for reconsideration on MHS 118 air conditioners denied

(October 30, 1998) - OPA, in its decision (Decision No. BP-A014.2) released on October 28, 1998, denied a request for reconsideration from OPA's previous appeal decision, referenced as BP-A014.1, pertaining to PSS's 118 air conditioners project at MHS. This reconsideration request was filed by Torres Refrigeration, Inc. (TRI), one of the bidders on this project, after OPA issued its decision on two earlier reconsideration requests on this procurement.

Because current PSS Regulations do not provide for further proceedings after a decision is made on a reconsideration request, OPA denied TRI's subsequent request for reconsideration. OPA further concluded that because TRI was previously given the opportunity to argue against the issues covered in the first reconsideration decision, OPA cannot now consider any of TRI's subsequent objections to these issues.
